The 1.6 update for Stardew Valley brings new content focused on enhancing the valley, along with quality of life improvements and bug fixes.
The last time I played Stardew Valley was on the Switch, as detailed in this article. After taking a break for almost a year, I’m excited to dive right back in and explore the 1.6 update.
The Stardew Valley 1.6 update brings: (without spoilers):

- Two fresh mini-festivals
- A novel environmental event
- Extensive new dialogue options
- An innovative end-game skill system
- A variety of new crops, crafting materials, furniture, and other items
- The introduction of the Meadowlands Farm as a new farm option
- The ability to have more than one pet
