Lenovo is teasing a powerful upgrade to its Legion GO handheld gaming PC. Word of this potential new Legion GO surfaced at Innovate 2024, a trade event in Thailand.

Lenovo spokesman, Clifford Chong confirmed that “the next generation” of the Legion GO is in development, promising more details to come. That’s all for now we won’t event know if the name Legion GO will be retained.

Portable Gaming, A Long-Awaited Response for Mobile Gaming

The competition is heating up. The portable PC gaming space is evolving rapidly, with demanding gamers eager for more power. Once relegated to older games and emulators, PC gaming handhelds are now powerful enough to handle modern AAA titles on the go. They might not replace a full desktop rig, but their portability is a game-changer for many PC gamers.

I personally switched to laptop gaming and honestly, and don’t feel will be going back to desktop anytime soon. The Switch is my portable gaming choice, but these new handheld gadgets do look appealing.
