By To celebrate Steam throwing us this FPS party, here are a few recommendations to get your aiming hand warmed up:
The Top Tier
Counter Strike 2
I am a simple man, I see Counter Strike, I play it. Ever since Counter Strike 1.2, played through both 1.5 and 1.6 era. Great times and great mods: deathmatches, bhop, kz mods and of course the warcraft 3 mod. Skipped CS:Source, but the new Counter Strike, and the second are really good. Top tier shooter.
Metro Exodus
No personal recommendation without mentioning Metro Exodus. The type of game that has really good weapon shooting. I am getting an urge to download it again, so this week again I will have a low post count on the blog. Oh well..
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Series
Nostalgia hitting hard for this game, but nevertheless, with a couple of mods, it can look like a good 2017-2018 FPS, so not bad at all!
Other Recommendations
Left 4 Dead 2
I just love it, Zombies, Co-Op, great shooting experience. Just wait for a sale!
Destiny 2
Some people love it, some not so much. One thing is certain, the shooting is really fun, polished and diverse. Worth a try!
Half-Life 2
Cannot have a shooter list without mentioning my all time favourite. Soon enough is time for yet another playthrough.
