    Stardew Valley version 1.6 confirmed for mobile & console (Switch included): November 4th
    What a time!

    Grab your pickaxe and head for the mines! We’ve finally received the magical date, November 4th, for the console and mobile release, and yes, Nintendo Switch is included.

    Stardew Valley creator Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone has confirmed the release date for the console and mobile versions of the game’s 1.6 update.

    As excited as I was when the 1.6 update launched on PC, I quickly realized: wait, I can’t play this game without the handheld experience. I shared my reasons for this in a love letter to Stardew Valley. Long story short, I struggle to fully immerse myself in the game using a keyboard and mouse. I haven’t even tried it on my ROG Ally to see if it compares, so I’ve just been patiently waiting. One of the perks of being a busy, older gamer is having a backlog full of games that are always waiting to be played.

    Ultimately, I’ve been waiting for the Switch update, and both my wife and I are thrilled to finally continue our game. If we have to start over, so be it!
