EA Play Subscription Prices to Increase

Standard and Pro tiers will see price bump starting May 10, 2024.

Electronic Arts announced earlier that they will be increasing the cost of their subscription service, EA Play.

Here’s the breakdown of the upcoming changes:

• Standard EA Play: The monthly subscription will increase from $4.99 / £3.99 to $5.99 / £5.99. The annual fee will rise from $29.99 / £19.99 to $39.99 / £35.99.
• EA Play Pro: This tier will see a price increase from $14.99 / £14.99 to $16.99 / £16.99 per month. The annual subscription cost will jump from $99.99 / £89.99 to $119.99 / £109.99.

Subscribers are currently receiving emails outlining these changes, which will take effect on May 10, 2024.

We just assume, since Sony did it too, not to mention the entertainment business giants like Disney & Netflix are also increasing the price of their subscription service. We assume one more time, to match the inflation.

You just got to love when companies increase the prices of things despite adding nothing to the overall quality.
